Unhappy Help, Car Does Not Start!

Hi all,

Well after plugging in INPA to test that my new fogging sensor is working as it should, I find that my car does not start.

I tried to start it with everything connected which has not caused me any problems in the past.

The car cranks but does not fire up. I have tried both keys and resetting the DDE-CAS module to no avail. There are no error codes in INPA or DIS.
Any ideas?

Makkan?

I have a 2006 330d E90.

Regards

James

Can you still communicate with all modules? If it cranks it's not going to be a CAS problem.

What is the battery voltage at? I've seen this problem with low voltage to DDE.

The battery voltage is about 12.5v.

Yes it's communicating with all modules.

Argh!

Any warnings on the dash? You could try disconnecting battery for 10mins then reconnecting.

No warnings on the dash. It's really thrown me! I'll give the battery a go. unfortunately, I've got to get to work now so I'll give it a go tomorrow. Thank you for your suggestions.

Also, you say you tried resetting CAS - DDE. I take it you mean syncing them via inpa -> activate -> EWS -> reset?

you approach should be reading the errors. And then rectify it one by one.

I've tried everything. Unlocking/locking. Both keys. No aftermarket immobiliser. absolutely no fault codes!

Well after leaving it on the drive over night, I come to start it at lunch and it fires up first time. Weird. Thanks again for all of your suggestions.
