Trouble Codes

Hi all,

I just got a handheld code reader to add to my growing toolbox and hooked it up to see how healthy my E90 is and it threw up two codes.

A0B2 and A0B5.

I haven't reset anything yet and there is no warning light on the dash but the car is running a little bit rough at the moment.

The car is a 2006 320i auto with 65k on the clock.

Any help appreciated.

A0B2:
Fault CAS supply
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed

A0B5:
Signal identification peed error
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Timeout

I would clear them and see if they return to start with. They appears to be linked with CAS and it should not interfere with the engine running status / condition.

CAS is a module which is central computer of the car. Its stores all the vital info of your car such as car's specs and key information.
It is the one which identify the key and provide algorithm to the engine of the car to start.

Thanks for the help Makkan00

Sounds like an expensive fix if it goes Pete-Tong.

I had my radiator develop a hole on me on the M25 the other week and I need the Vacuum pump doing and CCV by the looks of things.

This could be the makings of an expensive month, hopefully the CAS dont cause me any issues.

Thanks once again.
