BMS 435i over 400 hp

Check out the thread, terry got over 400 rwhp. He suspects it has to do with a larger wastegate housing outlet. Any chance for a retrofit??? Dang!

Oh wow just saw the thread! It holds better boost and power up top. I wonder what the 4in housing and stage 1 compressor upgrade would look like?!

Can this larger outlet be retrofitted?

Terry did say no, but then he also goes on to recommend a Vargas turbo. So I'm not sure if he was definitively saying this could be retrofitted with ease.

I was so afraid of the tuning capability of the new 435i that I traded my 2011 E92 335i for a 2011 E92 M3. Now i'm angry!

Nice numbers! No regrets with my N55 though. There will always be something better as the years go by.

I wonder what outlet is 4inches? Anyone know I had mentioned it might be the wastegate, but I have no clue. Maybe buying a 2014 n55 turbo, and slapping that on is the answer.

Sounds like the DP outlet is 4".
