Do you ever hear 4 beeps ???

I have 325i with Premium & navigation.
While driving, I have noticed that the system sometimes beeps 4 times.
In idrive it shows no messages!!! And everything else looks normal too !!!
This is not when system starts, I have heard this while driving on a freeway & while arriving at a parking from work, i.e. at different instances..

Has anyone experienced that ? Whats the mystery ?

It could be the hour memo that chimes at the top of each hour. You can turn it off in iDrive under the same menu where you set the time.

it sounds like it IS the hour memo... same sounds for all four beeps except the last beep is a little longer

I get it too but only when my wife's key is in. What the hell is the hour memo?

It goes off at the top of the hour like you can set digital wristwatches to do.

It's probably key-specific so that's why it goes off when your wife's key is in use but not yours. It defaults to off (at least it was off on my car when I took delivery).
