quick question on resetting adaptations
Ok, so I got new spark plugs, catless dps, and fmic installed not to long ago. My start ups are not consistent. Sometimes, starts perfectly fine, and sometimes starts up a little weird, a little hesitation almost.
Idle is a little rough, and the car bogs down a little when I go wot. I have read resetting the adaptations with the jb4 can solve this, but i have also read, that its not a good idea to reset. So now im not sure if I should do it? Also if I do need to do it, the steps are just ignition on, car off; 1-7, then follow this : 1. Never touch the brake pedal & leave the key inserted the entire time 2. Insert key and push START Button 3. Press and HOLD accelerator pedal for 30 seconds. 4. WITHOUT RELEASING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, push the START Button (remember without touching the brake, so the car doesn't really start yet.) 5. Release accelerator pedal 6. Wait 30 seconds 7. Start car normally Is that it? Oh and i did a search, but there's definitely not a definitive answer on reset adaptations.

I have never heard of reseting the adaptation this way.
When I have reset mine I have reset it with the JB4. turned start on (not the car) reset information in JB4 went to reset apdatation mode waitited for the confirmation shut car down turn back on 30sec later and went did some pulls. Now that being said you have installed tunes so the car will start different because of temp, type of gas ect The bog could be because, the car is not warmed up, maybe water in the gas. LPFP getting tired. Running to lean, running to rich When if ever did you get a walnut blast done. This is the best 350.00 you will spend. is the clutch worn without any logs it is also very hard to help

with the jb4 isn't the reset adaptation 1-7 with the steering wheel? how did you get to the reset adaptation mode?
Well ive had the tune since the 1st week I got my car, so it was fine, then went to the dealer to get something done, and they changed the spark plugs. Ever since then it has acted weird. I put new spark plugs in thinking maybe they really didn't change the plugs, and nothing. I never push the car until its warmed up, so that cant be, lpfp was changed about 12000 miles ago with the previous owner. I am running rich, but that's extremely recent. That's getting fixed tomorrow actually. Im getting the walnut blasting done in a few days, when I can afford not to have my car for a day. Clutch is perfect. Im hoping after my walnut blast is done, it will fix everything. Does the car adapt on its own? I installed dp and fmic do I need to do a reset? Im hoping after the walnut blast is done it runs better!
