My current 12v digital tyre inflator with thumb lock connector has packed in, so poped down to Halfords to buy a new one and all are a screw connector type now. Purchased one but could not get it to screw onto the thread of some of my tyre valves.

Anyone know a supplier of one please, the only one I could find online is called a Streetwize 250psi Air Compressor with Digital Gauge12v, but does get very mixed reviews regarding reliability, etc?

I use a Halfords type screw on one and it seems to seal better than the old thumb lock ones. I find it easiest to screen on if I hold the main part of the connector with one hand holding it slightly away from the valve and the other than to do up the screw - if that makes sense! Otherwise if you push the whole thing towards the valve it won't do up!
