Uninstall Cobb for Oil Change?

I'm going to get an oil change from Open Road BMW in Edison in an hour.
Not under warranty, I'm paying for it.

Yes, I'm lazy to uninstall my Cobb.
What do you guys think? Do they read ECU just for an oil change?

Difficult to do that stuff when yo don't have your own driveway, weather, etc..
Honestly, the 79.99 dealer special is only about $20 more than if i bought my own oil and filter and did it myself.

Now, back to the tune questions. Can I just leave it in? I don't see why they would check that for an oil change.

Does it matter if they know you have a tune? Is your car still under warranty?

I hate the freaken stealerships. The guy tried to charge me for the "ultimate oil service" for $290!!!

Do people actually pay that for an oil change?!?!

Thank God I have the $79.95 coupon!

Leave it on open road is pretty lenient to begin with. Plus you're getting an oil change they will want to get you in and out as quick as possible. Unless you're getting some serious work done they won't be looking to see if your car is tuned.

Thanks, that's what I did. They just told me I have an oil leak. Something to do with the oil filter gasket, but they said its a 6 hour job. Thank God for CPO!

an oil change can be done for less than 50$ but if you dont have a place to do it i say dealer is best bet and they wont care about cobb lol
