Hi guys,
Due to working closer to home, I no longer can justify having two cars in the family as I feel I'm just going to end up wrecking it with the very short 1.7 mile daily round trip!
It's the first time i've advertised on auto trader and in fact it's the first time i'm privately selling a car, so i'm a bit anxious about the whole experience.

I just wanted your help/advice about the pics/wording/price.
It's a lovely, honest car that'll just run and run forever. I'll honestly be sad to see it go.

Any help advice will be appreciated.

As above, good wording and photos.
I don't want to scare you, but when someone is viewing it just keeps your wits about you.
Don't leave the keys in it while they look round, and if more that one person turns up, only take the buyer on a test drive.
Be on your guard basically.
You can soon judge their character as soon as they turn up, if you're not comfortable then don't even offer them a drive, and do not give them they keys at any point.

If it helps, see if you can have a mate of yours there when they are due to turn up

Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely make sure I've got someone with me when someone comes to view.
I've had a couple of calls, one chap seemed really keen but then called back and said his 'Mrs. wouldn't let him buy it' and then another chap called and tried to bid me over the phone which I thought was in bad taste as he hadn't physically seen or driven the car!!
