hey guys, Does anyone have a 14mm 12pt thin wall deep socket i can borrow? .. I am in Addison, IL and willing to travel around chicago to pick it
. im trying to change my spark plugs on my 2007 335i- I searched local stores and cant seem to find a single one that carries this on site. I dont have time to order one since i need the car running now. also, if anyone knows of any store that carries it, please let me know. I know the dealership has it but im at stuck at work and by the time i get out the parts dept will be closed and they're closed tomorrow as well (sunday) thanks in advance! ![]()

I didnt know we needed a thin wall socket when i did my plugs a while ago, so I just tapered down a regular spark plug socket using a table grinder. Used compressed air to get rid of all of shavings left over then rubbed it down and it worked perfectly.
I even went as far as etching "N54 Spark Plug socket" on the side using a machine at my old job. I would've just let you have that but I lost it ![]() |
