I am no electronics wizard but I would say do some more research here. Most folks seem to like Modmynav. system which is more expensive by far and I am guessing superior by far as well. You can't piece meal a system. The components should be matched to provide good performance.

I have one that looks exactly like that and it works very well. Mine has the parking guides and night vision. The leds are good, just like the other side oem one. Night vision is good, but i like it during the day because it looks crisp.

I already have idrive 09 version.. What else do you need for it to work?

I bought the one that replaces the trunk handle. Has guidelines and Very clear during the day. At night it was a bit fuzzy but I replaced the license plate light to brighter white and now works perfect.

First, do you have i drive? If you do and want it to be integrated into that, they have kits. Modmynav, has one that seems popular. I bought all my components separately and saved a ton of money. Main thing you need besides the camera is a multimedia unit that hooks into the original system to make it work.
