Genuine BMW Interior LED Lighting Packages (Set of 4 or 10). Set of 4 consists of four LED modules suitable for headliner lamps (dome light, reading lamp). Set of 10 consists of six LED modules for the headliner lamps and four LED modules for the footwell and door lights. *Multiple sets may be required depending on application.

How many lights all together would you need if you also wanted to do the glove box, trunk, and visor mirror lights?

In the parts catalog, BMW states that the 10-piece set includes 7 LED's for the headliner lamps and 4 for the footwells and door lamps. They do not indicate if these bulbs can be used for the glove box and trunk applications, unfortuantely.

This answers why my map lights turn off with engine running I put wrong bulbs In Them. I put the 4 in map lights and the 6 in everything else, doh!
