Alloy wheel help!

Hi,

I'm going to buy some new alloys for my E92 tomorrow. Just have a question to ask before I go ahead, hopefully someone can help me.

The alloys I am looking at are: http://www.********.com/index.php?ro...product_id=692

Can I run my standard RUN FLAT Bridgestone OEM tyres on them? Even though these alloys aren't specifically designed for run flats??

It would be a shame to have to change tyres as they have about 5mm tread left on each..

Thanks for any help

Those are 8.5" fronts and 9.5" rears. Would the OEM tyres fit? Could be wrong, but assumed the standard 18s were 8" front and 8.5" rears?

Wheels for runflats have an extra shoulder on the inside of the rim that keeps the sidewall in place if the tyre deflates. So whilst runflat tyres will physically fit other wheels they will not operate as runflats and you'll probably find that reputable tyre companies will not fit them.

Thanks, so were your local tyre place happy to fit them?

I understand i'm losing the benefit of run flats but in all honesty I don't care too much... Just don't want to have to fork out another £500~ on tyres after I have spent that much on alloys lol
