Bms race backend flash question

Sorry if i missed this, because i did search...

Working with a buddy of mine on his 335

Where were at, e85 is about 30/40 miles away so he choose to run race gas on map 7...

Now if he were to flash to the bms backend flash, would he still need to upgrade pumps? Or can he get away with the stock pump? I know with e85 you need to, but was unsure about race gas

Thanks for any help

The Trolls are out. You don't need a booster if his stock pump isn't tired. You need a booster with ethanol because you need more flow for the same load.
