DTC Light Flashing

My 320D 2005 has just started loosing power and when this happens the DTC light is flashing on the dashboard. It is an intermittent fault but is tending to get worse and is starting to happen at all speeds.

Any idea what is causing this?

Thanks for any help

had that happen to my 335i and turned out I had a bad Crank Position Sensor. I think it's also called a crankshaft sensor. Had it replaced and no more limp mode!

DTC Light Flashing

I have it booked in on Tuesday with an independent BMW Specialist so hopefully fault codes will show up then.

Thanks

Hi

Just an update, error code was 5DB1 Wheel speed sensor.

New sensor fitted and all good now.

Mine's just started to show the traction triangle, even at 70 on a straight road
Only flashes a few times.
How much was that fitted if you don't mind?

They are very easy to fit, but you need to read the codes to find which one is failing, there is one for each wheel. 10/20 min job to fit
