Smile Need advice on wheels and tires setup for e90

Hello there!
I want to purchase new pare of wheels with tires, coz I think that my old style MV2 replika dosnt give a look my car deserves (its 18x8 wheels with 235\40 tires and ET47).

Still looks good, but sits to deep inside, and I much more into 265 rear tires.

Now I found a webshop with very good prices for Sweden, wheels that I was interrested in is Inter Action b9 (looks kinda like Lemans, but in 5 times cheaper)
There is 4 choises for those wheels, and here I need your advice!
I want to run 235\40 front 265\35 rear tires, I can choise between :
8x18 ET20
8x18 ET35
9x18 ET20
9x18 ET38
What should I choise for perfekt setup, I have a stock chassie but might lower the car just a little bit (to a m sport lvl or maybe some mm lower) only if I will find good and cheap alternative that wont affekt my performance in negative way (driving kinda aggressive, love fast turns), maybe you can recomend me something there, but as I said, as cheap and good as possible, wanna buy a m3 next year <3.

Come on, most of you should be familiar with this offset!
Will it look/handle good with 18x9 ET 38 front and 18x9 ET20 rear?
I know that front tires will be kinda streched.

This will work. I would probably add 10mm spacer to front. Rear might need fender roll, especially after lowering, because 265 is little wide to 9inch wheel. Also the front tyre isn't really stretched at all. Example http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...3&postcount=41

Here are few cars with 18x9 setup with different offsets.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...23&postcount=8
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=461073
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=104

This is 17x9 et30 front and rear and looking those pictures rear could use spacers http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=930454 If you get your setup with 18x9 et38 front and add 10mm spacer to front and get 18x9 et20 rear it would look pretty much like the above, but rear would be more flush.

Thanks!
So 18x9 ET 38 front and 18x9 ET 20 rear should be a perfekt setup for little more aggressive look with out doing loads of extra job?
I guess that 18x8 ET 35 front and 18x9 ET 38 rear will be way to deep.

Yes, but i would add front spacer. The et35/et38 setup would be sunken in. Other solution would be 18x8 et20 and 18x9 et20. Like this E90 Lci with 18x8 et20 and 18x9 et22 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...77&postcount=7

Only difference is that on pre-lci e90 18x9 et20 rear wheels are 6mm retracted compared to those, because the rear track difference. Also i would consider using 225/40/18 front tyre. Comparing 18x9 et38 and 18x8 et20 the 18x8 et20 would extend 5mm more.

How about 8.5 square?
Found some even hotter wheels.
http://www.blocket.se/goteborg/Kampa...9.htm?ca=8&w=3

18" has only 8.5, and 2 ET options, ET15 rear and ET35 front.
Will ET15 rear fit? And as I understood, the 235\265 combo is a bad idea there, so 225\255?

I would do 245/40/18 all around. No point in having staggered tires on square wheels.

Yes it would fit. Since you are looking cheaper wheels you could get these http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-521-Wh...20=638&show=50 in size 18x8.5 et25 and 18x10 et25 with 235/265 tyres. Possibly needs fender roll after lowering.

One example http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=669006

Starting to look after 19" as well.
Found some sweet wheels with 19x8.5 front ET options is 15(PROLLY WONT FIT), 35 AND 45, and rear 9.5 ET 15 and 35.
Would 19x8.5 et35 and 19x9.5 et15 look good? There should be a huge diference between front and rear, rear should fit with out drop right?

8.5et15 will be a good match for 9.5 et15. Tire sizes should be 225/35/19 and 255/30/19 and you'll need to roll your rear fenders. With this setup the front and rear wheels will poke about 5mm.

It's been done before. It would look funny if the rear wheels poke and the front wheels are tucked in.

I think that's a good choice...it's currently what I'm running. If you want a wider tire you could step up to 275/30 or 275/35

It's pretty wide wheel, might consider that.
It wont rub with 275\30 rear? I meen, 10" and et33 is pretty aggressive!

I would do 235/35/19 and 275/30/19. The rear wheel is 1.5" wider than the front. 1.5"=38mm so your rear tire should be 40mm wider than the front.

275/35/19 is totally wrong height ratio and would definitely rub.

Well 275/30/19 might fit without rubbing or not. Test fitting would tell your answer. Safest is the 235/35/19 and 265/30/19, if you don't want roll your fenders. This one has 19x10 et28 with 265/30/19 no rubbing
