Mass air sensor CEL
This has been happening sporadically over the past couple months. It comes on and sometimes within a few days it goes off. I haven't noticed any performance problem. Anyone have this issue or insight about it?

I had a similar one two times, but for the Throttle Valve Actuator, code 4687. Goes away after a few ignition cycles. Still have not pin pointed an issue. May be it also required cleaning.

Head and intake were cleaned under warranty. Only took 5 1/2 months. Hopefully, yours is just the MAF. If not it should not take nearly as long as mine did! |

Thanks for the info. I'm going to pick up some mass air sensor cleaner tomorrow. I have extended warranty so if the CEL keeps coming after I clean it; I guess it will be going in.
