Mass air sensor CEL

This has been happening sporadically over the past couple months. It comes on and sometimes within a few days it goes off. I haven't noticed any performance problem. Anyone have this issue or insight about it?

I had a similar one two times, but for the Throttle Valve Actuator, code 4687. Goes away after a few ignition cycles. Still have not pin pointed an issue. May be it also required cleaning.

Not wanting to create greater concern than warranted, but mine had no symptomatic issues other than intermittent SES that only stayed on for a few days.

Head and intake were cleaned under warranty. Only took 5 1/2 months. Hopefully, yours is just the MAF. If not it should not take nearly as long as mine did!

Thanks for the info. I'm going to pick up some mass air sensor cleaner tomorrow. I have extended warranty so if the CEL keeps coming after I clean it; I guess it will be going in.
