Save up in the long run small mods add up because it's easy to change it up. New front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, truck perf spoiler, perf exhaust, a black roof wrap, wheels and suspension.

You can find replica splitters and trunk spoilers on ebay for cheap. Vendor emotors2000 has good reviews even from this forum. Approximately $100 for either, withgreat fitment.
Also amber overlays are cheap, though I just vinyl wrapped mine.

I've had no issues with my cheap eBay splitters and spoiler. Looks great, fitment is great, colour match is bang on. Especially if you're not interested in racing, where real carbon fibre might actually benefit lap times due to weight savings, I'd say save the money if the end result looks the same. Save up for non-cosmetic mods, where there's actually benefits to be had by going with OEM or premium brands.

Yeah I bought plenty of stuff from eBay at a great price the last few years! Painted splitters, Hamann lip, M3 spoiler, CF performance style spoiler, roof spoiler, LED side markers, CF mirror caps, vinyl, OEM style spoiler you name it and I bought it lol! Most of them for under a $100. My car is made from eBay as most other guys here too LMAO! Just got to find the right seller.

But like Taran said in post #2, I would save up for bigger things like M Sport bumper, wheels and coils if you haven't done that yet.

In my opinion, a stock car is much cleaner and respectable than a car with a bunch of cheap mods. If you are going to modify a car you should put parts that are as good as oem not made in china by 12 year old kids. I had a performance spoiler rep and the weave was terrible and the fitment was off. I just believe if you are going to mod, do it right. Dont be that guy who puts random vinyl stripes on his hood and plasti dips his stock wheels...

I do agree that CF can look pretty cheap if not good quality. All of my mods are painted to match my jet black e90. Some vendors do a great paint match!

Quality over quantity...that being said as other have mentioned there is "affordable" ( i dont like the word cheap )... parts out there on ebay . If paint matching is a concern find a local quality body shop to have all the pieces painted together. In the long run, the only thing that matters is that you like how your car looks/performs... its your baby not ours.

Anyone know any reputable ebay vendors besides emotors2000. People should list the ebay vendors they had success with! I want to get CF Performance spoiler and CF roof spoiler and maybe front splitters, and I want to see if I can get all 3 at a bundle deal with the vendor.

I bought my grilles from him, but it looks like he doesn't have the carbon fiber roof spoiler.
