Typical installation costs for accessories?
I'm looking at adding a few accessories, such the carbon front lower lip, CD player, and the wind deflector/sun shade over the sunroof, on a 335i. Does anyone know if the dealer install costs tend to be steep? I know that would vary from dealer to dealer.
Thanks. |

dealers will always be more expansive, you pay for the "certification" and "piece of mind" if you can find a quality independent shop or better yet a member on the forum in ur area that works out of his garage, it will be the best price.
Also, I read someone offerered a mechanic at his dealer extra cash to do some installs after work hours, and I think he got a pretty good price. |

oh man please dont add those tacky accessories to a BMW. Really takes away from the beauty when you add plastic to it.

You know, I'm glad you mentioned that, because I was kind of wondering the same thing. Thanks, I'll take your advice. And you know, when you see the BMW promo photos, they never have those things on them.
