Didn't ask for anything after the deal - but did get free valve stem caps.
Before the deal was made - had already secured keychains, floormats and tank of gas. |

Did anyone that took a PCD receive any freebies, or a full tank?

I don't think you have any leverage to ask for freebies after the deal is done. I do however believe it is the norm for dealers to throw in a few goodies to give customers a good taste in their mouths prior to receiving the CSI call.

I got the rubber mats which I didn't have to ask for. When I went to pick the car up they said they usually give 2 keychains but they were outt of them and would send them to me. I wouldn't have used them so I told them not to worry about it.

I got carpeted floor mats and a full tank (which I was promised before I ordered the car), two suede BMW hats (which I asked for after I ordered), and two of the dealership's key chains. My girlfriend and her brother, who bought an X3 from the same dealership and introduced me to his sales associate, got a $50 check as a "referral payment." (FYI, I paid $2,045 under MSRP.)

Yeah - After grinding and whining to a salesman for hours or days you think he wants to give you goodies? Nope. and you don't deserve it either.
Pay a fair profit and watch him kiss your ass. Its the best way. He deserves it.

Carpeted mats came with my car. Dealer threw in rubber BMW mats, 2 key chains, and $50 gift certificate to use to buy accessories at the dealership none of which I asked for. That being said (not expecting to get all that) I bought the aluminum pedals and foot rest and tried to get the dealer to eat the cost of the install but we ended up splitting the labor cost which was fine when I found out I got those extras at no charge.

A full tank of gas, PCD pin (shirt/coat kind), one of those things that you put on your dash and it will hold nearly anything, and a PC driving school pen. That's it. |

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

I've heard of some people getting the chrome exhaust covers as a freebie. If you don't ask, you'll never know.
