Hi All,
I got new coils last year, raised the car for winter, now threads show signs of rust. anyone know what i can grab to clean the rust off and lube the threads? also what can be used to protect the threads as well. they are h&r coils |

I don't know what to clean them with (I cleaned mine with an old toothbrush but they just had light dust/dirt) but once u get em clean, spray the threads with W-40....it's a water repellant.....pretty sure my Ohlins manual specifically recommended that.......mine looked great on my post WD-40 inspection (after couple months) but I also don't drive my car in bad weather much.....
