I am thinking about going with an audio upgrade from Ken at Musicar Northwest, and am shopping about for a good installer in the Boston area. Ken had suggested SoRealSounds in Stoneham. Anyone have any experience with them -- or other recommendations?

Musicar is expensive. I wouldn't go that route.

That being said if they recommended an authorized installer in the area who has done the work before I would go with them.

It really depends on what your goals are.

I got my sound system rehauled at AVI-Boston, they are one of the best here in boston from my opinion, i swear its like the system came from the dealer, everything is extremely professional(ill post pics below)...I always walk in to them working on high end cars such as ferraris, lambos, maserati's etc....i had the base audio sound system from BMW which was terrible...my setup now:
Focal KRS100 (Front Speakers)
Focal KRS100 (Rear Speakers)
JL-Audio 12W6V3 Subwoofer
JL-Audio XD400 Amp (Speakers)
JL-Audio XD600 Mono Amp (Sub)


If you do end up going to AVI, talk to Safi, he is the manager and tell him Elie with the BMW sent you, tell him your budget and he will work with you for a system that will fit your taste.
