SSLD6i line driver. it's between the DAC and the Amp to boost the pre-amp signal.

What exactly are you doing there? What is the input to the DAC? Is this from the OEM source or just the Apple?

That SSLD is a nice unit. I wanted to use it with my hi-fi system but I was told that they can't accept balanced diff signals on the inputs.

Source is iPhone 5s to airport express via AirPlay and from airport express to DAC via optical. That's my only source.

change of plans. due to excessive jitter from the airport express (dropouts every few seconds), my setup is now phone>airplay to airport express>aux out to Tru Technology SSLD6i line driver> Helix A4 amp

hey im using the airenabler to a Muse DAC I got from ebay and I rarely get drop outs for a split second, the only killer is boot time but I plan to hard wire this so it comes on when I unlock the doors.
