Question E90 base stereo Bavsound stage 1 and SWS 8 upgrade

Hi,
I have E90 base stereo (no amply and no under-seat sub-woofer).
Is it ok to do the Bavsound stage 1 upgrade (so 4 mid-range and 4 tweeters) and add 1 SWS 8 to the under-seat? Can the HU power them all?

Thanks

I am also considering upgrade to Hifi from BMW via a local dealer. This comes with a stock amp. Which option (stock Hifi vs BSW Stage 1) ?

You actually do have underseat subs even on the base system(same as mine) i would recommend the BSW stage 1 & upgrade the subs under the seats to the BMW HIFI subs(8inch) what you have stock subs is a 6inch i will attach pics of what yours and the 8inch look like because i actually just upgraded, huge difference.....along with all of this i would get your headunit coded to HIFI

The Head Unit is not enough for aftermarket speakers

The Head Unit is not enough power for aftermarket speakers
it really isn't enough for before market speakers either.
You would be better of with a package from muiscarNW or
one of the other places that are now making packages
deals. Or at least using similar stuff.

Read this

You can do much better than the Hi Fi with one or these package deals the HI Fi
is not that good ,that's what I had.

There are a lot more drop in packages for speakers now for BMW that you don't
need adapters for and that do the under seat locations from Focal , Gladen
and of course Jehnert they are matched and made to fit. See the speaker list
from the Audio Build Thread.

The Mosconi/Gladen package or a MusicarNW system or something of that nature
will blow all the BMW systems away.

I checked today and in fact I have one sub under driver's seat, but not both front seats.
I decided to go with Stock Hifi upgrade via a local dealer because they can code my system from Stereo to Hifi and I think it's best to let them do all.
Thanks
