N54 engine light, unknown codes. Help
Hey everybody so my engine light turned on today when I started the car. I had drove it earlier and nothing and then at start up just turned on and never turned off again. Plugging in my laptop and got these 2 codes :
CDA9 No description found 2A12 DMTL diagnosis module leakage, magnetic valve, input signal. Have searched and can't find anything on this. I wanna fix the problem instead of just deleting in with the jb4. My car is a 2007 335i coupe All I have is dci and jb4 map 5. Thanks |

There's not much info on this yet... My mechanic (Ivo) is telling me it's the emissions fuel pump. 280 plus tax installed... What do you guys think? Am I getting ripped off?

If you are not in a hurry to get it and I believe the E46 also have the same part as well. Try here: http://faulknerbmwpartssource.com/pa...?siteid=216042

This happened to my car when it was like 3 years old. Before the dealer repaired under warranty, they told me to re-tighten gas cap and drive around for a few days, in case it wasn't on all the way. I guess it's something to try first, but I doubt it's the case.

Anyone figure out the P2A12 code? I've already tried replacing the DMTL Pump and Gas cap but no luck.
Also anyone know where the magnetic valve referenced in the error "2A12 DMTL diagnosis module tank leakage, magnetic valve, input signal" is located or how to test? |
