Question Wrap - Arlon vs 3M

I have read lots of positive things about 3M wraps. But just wondering if anyone tried Arlon and how is the quality? Arlon seems to be cheaper but just wondering if its also "cheap material".

3M holds up better. Arlon stretches better. I would still recommend 3M, they're a bit more expensive though. Another alternative is Avery. They're a bit cheaper, stretch better, and they look and hold up great. Have had that one my car too.

I forgot about Avery, might check them out too. I don't need the wrap to last 10 yrs. Thanks!

I'm looking at the "best" Matte Metallic Blue wrap.

Very good. Hope you find the one you're after. Avery makes great stuff. Definitely worth looking into.

I tried to search some pics of the...
Avery Supreme Wrap - Brilliant Blue Matte Metallic
and
Avery Supreme Wrap - Night Blue Matte Metallic

Seems to be not as easy as the 3M.

Found some I think the Brilliant Blue Matte Metallic is very similar as the 3M that I wanted.

What do you mean not as easy? The materials are almost all the same. They won't be different in difficulty of installation.

3m has really built a strong reputation for itself, I would just go with 3m .. I just pulled the trigger on some 3m brushed black metallic vinyl

I would go with Avery. I have worked with 3m 1080 vinyl series and Oracle vinyl but i would have to go with Avery. Avery is much easier to install if you're a beginner. Not to mention, that you can slide it on the vehicle part without difficulty. I'm wrapping my car with Avery in couple weeks. I went with gloss pearl white. I currently have my car wrapped in matte red but i've only had it for two months so want it to last, before i install the gloss pearl.

EBay always has the best prices. Same vendors that sell on forums sell their exact same products on ebay.

I've used all of them. 3m has the strongest initial tack but they all at roughly the same. Just carry various colors. I'm doing Avery matte blaze orange metallic on my e90 this week at work.
