SPARKY68 Is The Man!

Posted this up in my own build thread... But i believe this guy needs his own recognition for this generous act of helping a fellow member out in a sticky situation

Visited A1 BN and saw oldgreysteve on saturday... Have a read of my review on their services here
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=977836

They fitted the following
M3 Control Arms
Brembo Brake Discs
Akebono Pads
OEM Anti Roll Bar bushs
OEM Flexi Brake lines

But there is one shout out i need to give!!!

THE BIGGEST THANKS TO Sparky68 (Mark)

Absolute legend!!! I needed new pads ASAP as i have had terrible handling issues due to warped discs, and blown bush's. I was in a desperate rush to get everything fixed and i had ordered Akebono pads from Amazon US... But the wait would have been 2 weeks! Something i just couldn't handle. The car was handling dangerously.

I messaged Sparky on Wednesday with a cheeky question as i knew he had purchased Boz's pads which were recently up for sale.
I asked if he could send me his recently purchased pads... I wasn't expecting a Yes, but when he straight up offered to send me them, without any money or assurance... I WAS OVER THE MOON! What a real gent this guy is!!!

I had them arranged to be picked up thursday from his work place and i received them friday... BOOM!
I will be sending my new akebono pads over to Mark when i receive them.

ONCE AGAIN! Take note Lads! Sparky is one awesome guy!!!

Josh
When you get a chance, post up some feedback about how the pads are. I was looking forward to using them, but I didn't get around to fitting them before I sold the car.

I'd heard good things about them from the US boards and the elimination of black brake dust was very appealing.

Nice one Mark! Top bloke.

Hey boz you at work this week? Will pop down or you can come up to Red Bull for a coffee?

I was not going to fit the pads until MOT time anyway and Josh needed them badly so was a no brainer.

In regards to the performance....

Well they are not performing great just yet, but they need a short while to bed in i guess. So in 1000 miles or so, i will get back to you about the performance.
I have also installed new brembo blank discs and new oem rubber brake hoses for the sake of it.
