Durafortress

Has anyone tried this on their wheels? Just bought a new set of winter wheels thought I would try this out. They are located in Naperville.

Yeah, i'm going to but thought I would see if anyone else has done this. I've been opti-coating my wheel and the results were no better than a basic clear coat.

Just an update. As you all know winter has been a bitch this year but I am more than pleased with the results from the coating. Brake dust does not stick and salt comes right off with just a simple no touch wash. I am getting my summer tires coated in March so this will be the final test since i run hyper silver wheels.

How long does it last? How much did it cost? How long does it take?

  • Should last longer than a clear coat, it is nice and thick. No chips yet.
  • About $49 per wheel.
  • I picked them up a week after I dropped them off but they were actually done in about 4 days.

I was tired of going through so much of the Armor All wheel protectant @ $10 per can each time I washed the car.

Update; just had my Advans coated and A&L is mounting the tires
I spoke to the owner today and he said he created the coating so it is not available through another supplier/coater.

Contact the following if interested:

Performance Powder Coating (PPC)
info@performancepowdercoating.com
(630) 585-5080

www.durafortress.com

I'll throw a pick up tomorrow.
