Valuation CAT D M3

This might be the wrong forum but any input?

How much will a CAT D fully repaired (rear end damage) E46 M3 convertible be worth?

Mileage: 90kish
Year 2004
Bodywork: Overall V Good

Full service history, not BMW.

Any rough figures? I see auto trader pretty much asking same value. I thought they are around 20/30% cheaper?

I've sold 03 smg 97k miles for £7000 ,it was in back in January . If you car has subframe done or proof that there's no cracks you could ask £5500-6000

you would be looking between the 6.5-7.5k mark i'd say
also depends on colour combo's etc

options with red leathers, blacks individual colours obviously hold a higher value and will be in the upper catagory of 7.5-8.5k as a rough guide...

hope that helps mate

Hi
It was actually £8.5. But since then I think prices have risen.
My first one I sold in 2011, it was a 2003 SMG CB with 105k for £7200

I was thinking a good condition one for around 6k mark, any colour as long as it has the basics of leathers and etc, but all M3s are equipped well as standard. But satnav etc is a plus!

But not too fussed as its second weekend toy!

Yeah was thinking 30% cheaper but they all priced expensive on auto trader and etc. M3 an exception? Higher demand?

Any1 heard of PPI checks at BMW before purchase?

Any input is welcome

Personally I wouldn't bother when there are good cars out there without "history" at reasonable prices. Why? IMO....

Unless you saw the car pre-repair you will never know exactly what damage it sustained.

Unless you instructed the repair you will never know to what quality it was repaired.

You may have insurance complications.

You will have a limited market when you come to sell.
