Z4 35i Dyno - Cobb PTF Etune
I probably should have cooled down my intercooler before I got on the dyno, oh well. I guess that I probably would have seen slightly higher numbers if I would have. I logged my dyno runs and charge air temps were between 95 and 105. However, I can't imagine having a tune that is smoother than this one. Dzenno did a great job on my car. Look how good that dyno graph looks!
Dyno run was with the following mods: 93 Octane Stock Turbos DTC HPF FMIC AR DP's Remis Exhaust Drop-In Filter Last edited by Lambobimmer; 04-25-2014 at 10:56 PM.. |

Those are some nice numbers for 93 and high intake temps but even more impressive as you mentioned is just how smooth that graph is. Just incredible.

Dzenno is great!
We are still working of fine-tuning the map for my car. It's based off Cobb Stage1 + FMIC Agressive map. Here is the latest graph in Virtual Dyno.

I put my car on the Dyno after driving 20 minutes without cooling down the Intercooler. Numbers would probably be closer to 385hp and 420tq with lower temps. I don't really care about the raw numbers because there is not a lot of consistency from dyno to dyno. For example my previous 135i put down 371 and 417tq on a Mustang Dyno. This was also on 93 octane and a OTS Cobb Stage 2 map. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=706301 |

Ideally op would have had a baseline number on that dyno so we could see what the gains are. But I guarantee you that he did not lose hp over teh ots maps after dzenno got his hands on it. Plus, everyone is too caught up on peak numbers. My ptf tune only gained about 13whp peak over cobb stage 2 aggressive. But the area under the curve had incredible gains - about 20-30 hp from about 2500rpm to 5400rpm when compared to the stage 2 aggressive. And it is a shitload smoother than the ots maps - even if there was no hp gain, custom ptf map would have been worth it. |
