MTEC AE's flickering?

Just got my MTEC AE's installed (had them for almost a year on a shelf waiting to get installed )

I went with the V3s instead of the V4s... since I liked the slight bluish of the V3s.

Anyway, AE's look great, but upon startup of the car. the AE's flicker like crazy and I get the bulb warning on my dash... after about 5 second of flickering, they are fine, and no more dash light...

I understand LED bulbs can interfere with the car's "startup procedure" when it checks for any bulbs that are out.

My question is - They market these lights are "direct swaps" and "ERROR FREE"...so why then am I getting the flickering?

Yes pre lci...

If they flicker, what would that mean? Bulbs are bad?

The dealership are the ones they actually installed them...

Was just replaced at the dealership about a year ago.

I am little pissed at myself, I bought these about 8-10 months ago, and I just got them installed... There is pretty much no way I could "return" these lights.

They work perfectly fine after the first 6-8 seconds during startup, but my understanding was there would be no "errors" and were a plug and play.

I also do not leave my lightswitch in the "Auto" position.. I hear that helps, but I do not like leaving my lights on this setting and prefer to manually turn my lights on as needed.

if you replaced ur battery recently then i guess its the AE fault, just use them till they die out & then buy new ones i guess, nothing much you can do

Yea historically if angel eyes flicker it usually means the battery is on the way out, unless they are angel eyes already notorious for flickering.

The good thing about angel eyes is you can't see them when your driving and nobody really stares at your car the first 6 seconds when you drive. Think positive!

Him weird.

I hope my battery is all good... It better be after the raping I took from the dealership to do it.

The AE v3s look awesome on my car IMO, and very happy with them... After those first 6 seconds at startup of course. I hope they don't die on me soon

Thanks, but I prefer the color of the v3 compared to the v4.

I also bought them direct, so it's not a vender or seller issue.
