Went to BMW I have 56,000 miles on 2011 335. I had to get a new radiator and thermostat for 1300$ Because the car went into limp mode and over heated. Does this make sense? Seems kinda early to replace a radiator. Also it looks like the same radiator to me. Or am I looking at the inter cooler? Any feedback or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

are you sure it wasn't for a water pump and thermostat?

No, bill says radiator coolant thermostat control sleeve....
