My Top Hifi amp blew in my 2007 335i and I've been looking for options to replace it. From all the searching I've done it seems all aftermarket options still require the use of the factory amp. Are either the Mobridge or the JBL MS8 direct swap?

I thought all 07 335's came with L7
at least in the US.
Which means you have to recode to Hi Fi
from Top Hi Fi to make anything work.

My mistake, I meant Top HiFi.

So essentially I need to recode to HiFi and purchase the Adapter from Technic?
Then I need an amp for all speakers?

Yes you need a 9 channels worth of amp
if you want to power all the speakers. Its a big expensive job
to go aftermarket with a L7.
If you don't want to recode there is the mobridge da2 preamp.

Start by reading the audio build thread with emphasis on the
L7 system.
