Lowering top hats/perches

Hey folks. Already on E92 number 2, this time its AlpineWeiss with a better spec and im looking at installing 30mm H+R lowering springs. Infact Im doing it this afternoon.

However, I just stumbled accross a thread speaking of supreme power lowering perches. Are there any other companies make these, or does anybody have a set to sell? $90 seems steep for top hats, are there any UK based manufacturers?

Cheers

I've been on the same search.
Supreme Power want $99 to ship to the UK!

I've not found anything equivalent over here.

Maybe we could arrange a group buy?

Are you serious!!! I hadnt even got as far as postage yet. I do a friend who stays in Carolina, I wonder if he would third party ship a set/sets for anyone interested. Il give Austin a shout and see. If I pay 100 dollars for shipping I expect it to be hand delivered by a supermodel

Lol. That's what I thought. Aren't they only about $80 to buy?

If you can third party ship as a gift and avoid import taxes; that would be wonderful!

Yeah I think so. And they wont weigh that much either. Il have a chat to Austin tonight and see if hes up for sending us some " gifts " I must upload a photo of my car with the springs installed. These perches will make it perfect

I fitted these to my last e92, the drop is hardly noticeable .
I had them shipped to my sisters in Miami and brought them back in my case, from memory think they weigh about 1kg.
At the time I couldn't find anyone else who stocked them even though they are manufactured in Germany I think

Not really, certainly not worth the cost of importing them IMHO

The drop is 0.5"
and if you are sitting stock, that is not a drop at all.

If you are already dropped on H&R springs and need a little more, then 0.5 would be perfect imo

If you use h&r sports with the lowering perches on standard dampers and bump stops it will bottom out on the bump stops most of the time. You really need to change the bump stops for some shorter ones (e36 m3) or upgrade the dampers
