Very good Work
I've owned a couple of E90 M-Sports before and prefer the M-Sport steering wheel a lot more than the SE steering wheels.
After reading this thread and some other forums, I decided to get my 2007 E93 SE wheel (which is very shiney and slippy after 60000 miles and 7 years of wear), retrimmed to an M-Sport style by Royal Steering Wheels. I ordered the wheel and fitting and paid a deposit. I arranged a mutually convenient time for fitting and drove up and got my wheel fitted yesterday. I am very impressed with the quality of the work and the leather looks and feels every bit as nice as M-Sport steering wheels I've had in the past. Whether it wears as well in the long term or not I can't tell, but will update in the future once I've had it a few months. In summary I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the work and the level of service provided and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Royal Steering Wheels. I would definitely consider doing other cars in the future which need their wheels done. At the end of the day, this is the one part of the car which you are always touching, so having a nice feeling wheel makes all the difference! - My car is now much nicer to drive. I like the idea of this
I have a spare SE wheel too. However quality control looks a bit dubious! Some look fansatatic and some look a little rough |
