Steering Wheel

Hey everyone. I just bought a flat bottom BMW Performance steering wheel with the DCT paddles. I am curious if anybody has the know how to install this on a 2008 335xi where i have the push/pull paddles. I will buy some beer and/or some cash if somebody can help when I get it.

I am located in the Saint Clair Shores area and willing to drive but not too far.

Hopefully someone can help

Thank you

as long as battery is disconnected no problem with airbag error. very easy to install. i just did a retrofit from sport wheel to a 335 wheel with paddles.
i bought my paddle retrofit from BMS and they gave me an excellent writeup. if you can't find something online PM i know i have the writeup somewhere and can send you a copy

There really isn't much to it, think it took me about 30 mins was all and that was my first time. I'll see if I can find a link to the DIY I used.

Awesome buy. Did you get it from one of the members here? Noticed a couple for sale here.

yes i bought it from Cripple...it has the yellow stripe on top...i love the alcantara so definitely pumped...may have to find a roll and wrap my interior pieces too...i just wish i had black interior rather than saddle brown haha

but what about the paddles? easy to just swap? anything more i have to do? should i just resell the paddles and use my stockers? i love the idea of right upshift and left downshift seeing as my moms x3 m sport is that way and i love it...it is the way it should have been

Assuming by your pic you have an e90???

The install took about 15 minutes for me.
I also recommend you switching out your trim. That color... Has GOT TO GO!
