Oh and by the way did I catch aN LL Cool J reference in the title? When I read it, in my mind I said it to the tune of "Don't call it a comeback (build thread)..." LOL

I am now playing that song on Spotify and I'm sure I'm going to annoy the hell of my girl all day singing that out loud thank you very much.

But, I have convinced the soon-to-be wife to let me pick up a S1kR after the wedding since I sold my R1, so I guess that's a victory in itself.

Oh, sixpoint is awesome stuff. My favorite is Resin.
Much appreciated, thanks man!

I'm with you...sold my GSXR 600 before we bought the house, too. Though I was able to use a little dough to pick up my e30 beater, so that was a minor victory for me.

Here's hoping you have an awesome wedding!! Congrats!

And yes, Resin is excellent stuff. Bengali Tiger is really good, too. Honestly, haven't had a bad beer from them yet.

I just think it sounded like a riced up civic, tips looked cheap especially with the rain hole at the norton that was visible, and it rusted fast.
Main problem was the sound for me, which only got slightly better with downpipes.
In the end I thought muffler delete sounded better for a "budget" exhaust mod.
Congrats though, nice build
Thanks man! Yeah, like I said, I'm probably going to swap out the tips. They're a little gaudy, but tolerable for now. Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I really like how the M2 sounds.

eBay is the cheapest place I've seen them sold yet (be sure to make an offer and get the price lower...worked for me):

Hell yeah...hoping to continually make minor changes to keep her refreshed! E39's are great cars. That style M5 is one of my all-time favorites!

Agreed...or at the very least, double-walled tips in the same diameter would really look great!

I don't mess around, man. I'm here to have fun. My wife is beautiful, I've got nothing to hide. Now a photo of her in a bikini or less, that ain't happening. That's for my eyes to enjoy only! lol

You got it, brother. SGM on 162's is the epitome of clean. That is, until I can afford some CCWs!

Also, sorry for the temporarily broken photo links. Had no idea there was a bandwidth limit on photobucket, so my photos won't reappear for a few more days, I believe. Weak.

Thanks. Mind if I ask how much you offered to get it cheaper? PM me if you don't want to make it public.

What did you do with the little.... "straps" that are attached to the sunglass holder? I'm not even sure what they are for. They came attached to the backside of the screws, however, when I install the holder like that, the straps are visible when the holder is closed. I'm not a fan of that. In your pictures the straps are not visible, so I'm wondering what you did with them. I'm referring to the little black straps with the red line down the center. Do they serve any real purpose anyways?

Great question, I just tucked them behind the actual case when I screwed it in. I had no idea myself. As you can tell from the photos, you can't even see them.
