Installed new F14 wheels

New 19" F14 in Gloss Gunmetal with standard Forgestar recommended offsets, so mildly aggressive by standards here. They are 19x8.5 et32 (semi-concave) and 19x10 et38 (deep concave), and they're wrapped in PSS 235/35/19 & 265/30/19.

That looks pretty sweet! I think Hyper Silver would also look pretty cool for those rims. I recently got my oem rims repainted 189 starfish I think? Also got it done in gunmetal with a slight blueish color to it. Looks really sweet in the sun.

Thanks dude. Sun light changes look significantly...i considered hyperblack type finish and would probably get that for second set if I had the chance. Silver always looks great... Enjoy your new looking wheels!

Be careful with going 225 front you want to keep your F-R diameters as close as possible to avoid TC issues.

Where did buy your setup from? I've been shopping around for a while and still can't decide on 18" VMR VB3s or these.

Mod Bargains, which as I understand are located just a couple minutes away from Forgestar - convenient if you're custom building. I don't recall seeing 18" in stock. These 19" wheels were in stock, a big reason why I ordered them and with the standard offsets. Glad I did actually cuz I already rub a little...

I like the vb3 as well. For 19", the f14 are relatively light but cost a bit more than vmr...

Sorry for dumb question but isn't rolling diameter of 225/35/19 almost identical to 265/30/19, and closer than 235/35/19?

My bad, i should've been clearer. Id get the forgestars if i were to buy 19s but I'm still debating. I'm on base model suspension (even higher than sport lol) so i dont think I'd rub. How much curb protection do the tires give the wheel? Does a 235/265 width have a flush fit with the rim or does it extend past the rim a little.

I see... I had similar decision problems. Last year I was set on 19", then this year I changed my mind and was set on 18" until the last minute when I went back to 19".

Forgestar & Mod Bargains suggested to me that their recommended fitment of 8.5" et32 and 10" et38 is a near flush fitment, which I believe is about right. For me, it's a few mm from flush due to my slightly sunken in wheels (as a result of the car being lowered & compressed, so negatively cambered in more than your stance). The bottom of wheel&tire poke out but top is sunk in slightly. Still relatively aggressive looking but you can go more aggressive with your setup IMO. I don't have experience with stock height higher than sport ZSP but I imagine you could go with a rear offset of et35 without a problem, be flush or slightly poking out. You could probably go much lower especially if you're willing to modify the fender. Some people here have done the super deep concave profile in the rear - I forget but I think lowest offset if 30 for those. If I had stock height, I would consider that and just roll the fenders if I had to. A complimentary concave front might be the trickier thing. But I'm happy with look of Deep-concave in the rear and semi-concave up front. Hope that helps...

The PSS is a beefy tire with a lot of sidewall to protect the wheel. So far I notice a softer ride with the 19" PSS over my Bridgestone runflat 18". You could go with 275, especially something with a narrower shoulder than the PSS such as Falken or Hankook I believe. But I'm guessing 275 PSS would work as well for you - probably not for me without fender roll - which I'm getting this Friday by the way...

Those wheels look awesome! I love the white w/ gunmetal.

They remind me a lot of the the B7 RS4 OEM wheels:

You're correct, 225/35/19 paired with 265/30/19 is closer than 235/35/19.

Looking really good. Especially with that deep concave on the rear.

Thanks dude. I wasn't sure how much I would like the gunmetal, but if I had to do it over I would get the same color. Yeah, I definitely see the resemblance to the RS4's. One difference I see is that on the RS4's each of the 7 double spokes is joined with a horizontal connection design (towards the outer rim) whereas the F14's do not.
