A1 Specialists - My Experience!
Now this ain't no smoke blowing post...this is genuine! Thses guys are the nutz!
So I had my car booked in for a health check. Having only bought the car recently I wanted peace of mind that all was well so contacted Steve anb spoke to him. He recommended their comprehensive vehicle check. Rocked up there and I I walked through the door the banter started as I was apologising for being late and one of the technicians replied 'you will be' Anyway Steve explained everything and introduced me to the technician who would be looking after me. Also offered me the opportunity to venture into the garage once the car was on the ramp to have a good ole nose around if I wanted to. Now these guys are the guys you want to work on your car. They never came across as a 'jobs worth' only interested on the pay. They actually care. The technician sniffed around, in, out, below side ways...any nook or cranny available he had his light and eagle eyes peering into looking for faults. He even adjusted my hand brake that was well out and this I never asked for. Once I got out to the garage to have my own look I started talking to some of the other technicians. Same caring friendly response. Steve took me around showing the walnut blasting machine and all the other gadgets that they have. Needless to say I was so impressed I won't hesitate to take my car there. It really is the type of garage this forum needs. And not only are they caring but they are quite knowledgeable as well. Thanks Steve!...best service ever! |

No worries all in a days work
We try to do this sort of thing all the time occasionally we have the odd bump but we're a garage just luckily a garage that wants to work on these sort of cars and ensure the owners get what they want. Firstly on Shaun's car we test drove it as it was to get an idea of what's what yes it was only a requested vehicle check and we could of liked the main dealer put the car in the air written a list out and took the money but if you don't drive it you don't actually know after any adjustments you don't know if what you've done has made an impact so straight in after the drive and first thing was to see if the car had enough clearance to sit comfortably on our ramp set. Kieron was the technician looking after Shaun's car upon very carefully manoeuvring the car on to his ramp he wasn't happy with lifting or indeed attempting to lift the car in the air using the standard ramps and therefore called me over to have a look at what the situation was regarding the lower than standard ride height. It was totally his call but he refused point blank to attempt to raise the car using his ramp which delayed Shaun but was IMO the correct move. Therefore while we waited for the MOT ramp to become available(it was a tough day for MOT's) a full diagnostic check was carried out once the JB4 was disabled. This sadly delayed Shaun which was the only fly in the ointment. But once free the car was pulled over to the MOT flat ramp where Kieron done the necessary and carried out a couple of simple adjustment which he'd simply picked up upon on his brief drive one of which Shaun had mentioned hadn't mentioned to Kieron so I understand re the exhaust but fair play he picked up on it and sorted the issue. Shaun was walked around and underneath his car by Kieron once Kieron had finished everything to his satisfaction I just simply left them to it. A quick walk around the work ship followed so that the eyes backed up the statement re the fact that we have everything required on site to look after your cars along with the understanding. I understand Shaun had a quick word with our Alan and mentioned the word Cat less downpipes I'll say no more But good seeing you Shaun yep we'll need to arrange for the pipes to go on maybe a bit of walnut blasting eh.. looking forward to seeing the build progress too |

We can do basic wheel alignment but at £70K for a Hunter Pro system we feel as there's a load of company's around our way with the equipment already that the money's better invested elsewhere, though we can do with ease if required straightforward front wheel alignment
