M3 219 rear wheel with 245/40/18 tires rub?

M3 219 rear wheel
- ET23 18x9.5 with 245/40/18 tires.
Would this rub on a E92? my fenders are rolled.

I posted a similar question for putting various M3 wheels (e46 and e92) on my sport pkge e92 and also had no replies....
the only thing I found on searches is that the tire sizes are too tall....26 inch diameter for M3 set up and you want to keep around 25' diameter in non M3 applications by using 35 series on 18 inch wheels or on 19" M3 wheels use 30 series tires verse the 35s of the stock M3.

Some posters said they had no problems while others posted not to try it

Are you lowered? I think at the very least you'll need a 35 series tire.

Yea rite now i have 255/35/18 but i wanna a fatter tire in the rear..

That setup is too aggressive with that tall of a tire. I rubbed with a 15mm spacer out back (didn't rub on the fender but up higher inside of the wheel well). Never rubbed once with a 10mm though. You're setup puts you 15mm past that! Not gonna happen...
