What are the thoughts on going non-RF from RF

Hello!

I'm about to buy the set only for the front of my E90, I'm currently with the BFgoodrich potenza that came from the dealer, I have been looking around doing the research and I haven't decide if going noN RUNFLAT since they're cheaper.

What do you guys recommend thanks for the help.

Definitely ditch the run flats... The ride and sound on essentially any decent tire is night and day. Just carry a spare in the trunk!!

I ditched the RFTs at the first opportunity. I run Michelin Pilot Super Sports now. Night and day difference in all performance aspects.

Cheers!

First thing I did on my car was change from RFT tires, to non RFT. It has literally been said time and time again that the only time a RFT tire is better than a conventional tire, is when there is no air left. They wear faster, handle worse, and cost more. It's a pretty easy decision as far as I'm concerned!

I absolutely loved my t1r's when I had them. I actually find the only negative aspect of them is the price. It has almost doubled in the last few years. For a tire to run mild stretch you can't go wrong, but if you want all out performance go with a Michelin Pilot SuperSport.

There are people that post about this every week. In general, the consensus is that you will be much happier with conventional tires.
