TPMS issues
It was time for new tires on the E92 and a few weeks ago I finally decided to ditch the dreaded OEM run-flats and opt for something better.
After lots of research I finally pulled the trigger on 4 new Michelin Pilot Super Sports and they are AMAZING. The ride is so much better and the handling just transforms the car in many ways. I had to wait a week for them to come in but once they were mounted it was like Christmas day for me. When I left the shop, the TPMS was giving me an error on the BC however an employee informed me that it would go away after driving for a little bit and they insisted that it had been reset. For good measure I went ahead and reset it myself and continued to drive for the past few weeks however the warning/error has not gone away yet. Before I go back to the tire shop, is there anything I could do or check to determine the cause of the error? I do not want to code out TPMS so that's not an option... Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
