Alarm going off on hot days

So it's a real pain but during hot days my alarm has been going off. I had someone at a shop look for any codes and they told me internal siren fault code was found and that I need to replace the siren itself which is like ~$200.....is that pretty much 100% if the code says it's the internal siren that it's most likely the problem? Not sure how the hot weather is related to the siren getting faulty.
Just want to make sure before I spend ~$200 on a new one and the problem still continues....
