Help! Problems installing M3 Rep rear bumper

My car ('07 328xi sedan) is at the shop getting my M3 Style rear bumper installed and the shop is having trouble. They say the Energy Absorber sticks out too far hitting the mesh part of the rep bumper. I have emailed Alan at Mod Bargains and I'm waiting for a response. Has anyone had this issue?

Got it worked out. The bumper fits like a glove, and the damn shop just couldn't get it lined up. With my assistance we got-er-done.
