Strange Limp Mode!!! HELP!
Hello guys! 3rd day on my e92 M-sport 335i. 640km on odo. I floured in 4th gear ~50% throttle at ~4000rpm(break-in till 1500km ) then CEL light appeared on dashboard with with checkengine light (strange, the picture of engine was drawn half-filled, maybe its BMW feature...) and the car was very underpowered. I was SCARED! Then I turned it off and start again and everything was just right, no CEL, no warning, Check procedure showed OK.
From what I have read on this forum it could be Overboost caused by very fast throttle closing on boost, so the new (640km) OEM diverter vales didn't cope with it. Please help me! The petrol was 98 octane RON (european) |

Same thing happened to my car. It happened only once and never has happened again. I have about 8,500 miles now.

Put in a Procede 1.4x, maybe the causes will cancel each other out and no more limp mode.
