Roof trim removal 335i cabrio
Hi brothers and sisters.
Wrapping my roof and would like to know if I can remove this trim. It appears to be attached by glue. Would make wrapping easier. Cheers |

So apparently I can't attach pics but it's the 2 running down either side. Where one of them Is part of the support when folding the roof down

Well I didn't wrap mine myself but I watched it being done by a professional and those pieces were not removed. What color vinyl did you decide to go with??? Good luck!!

How are you thinking of wrapping it. Our e93 body line is a bit different than the e92. I've seen roofs wrapped right through the middle of those pieces and it looked really good. I think the one I seen was black and he wrapped his whole car white except the roof with that line.

Roof and rear pillars are Matt black. I used a whole roll perfecting my technique. So I have a better understanding of what I'll be doing tomorrow. Just need to go buy a squeegee. I'll post pics once I'm done. Cheers for the advice

Let me start with its fucking hard. Spent another roll figuring out how to wrap over the trim. Main issue is I'm using a cheaper vinyl. And it's ripping. $50 a roll vs $300 for 3M. Taking a smoko break before I loose it
