put in my production number and everything is wrong..

I ordered a 2008 335xi coupe today, my CA gave me a call a couple hours later to tell me my production number. I went online and put it in and everything is wrong. The car color/leather color...options... everything is wrong.

Is this maybe just a default setting, and it will update... or what?

This is perfectly normal. Let me explain. Every dealer has a certain amount of standard cars with different colors and rather basic options. When you order a car, the dealer will most likely modify one of their existing orders to meet what you want as to reduce the wait time for your car. It would take forever if they placed you at the end of their list. This false readout should change. But don't worry. Your car is your car. Not the one on the website.

Yea happened to me as well, but my CA and his manager told me like three times that it would be wrong for a couple of days, they said people totally freak out when they go to the web site and not see their order...
