HID fog lights… What do I need to not throw a code??

Hello all, upgraded to M3 style front end, and the fog lights are projectors so want to go with HID's since it won't blind anyone.

I installed my kit i had laying around from my M3 fogs but it throws a code, so is any kit that are plug and play that don't throw a code, or do i have to wire in a capacitor or do they sell a harness so it doesn't throw codes? Any input and links to where i can buy a complete kit, would be awesome!

Thanks all!

Where do you install that in line with the kit? Before the ballasts, or between the ballasts and bulbs?

Between the ballast and car's output. Basically before your ballasts...

Installed it yesterday, no errors and flickering.

Going to need an inline resistor or a canbus/error free ballast.
