Anyone had any experience of MTech brake disks ? Half the price of EBC disks.

They are pretty good in my eyes matey.

I cant say too much but Mtec supply one of the bigger brands with thier disks. The bigger brand then hikes the price up.

I ran Mtec brakes on my Cosworth Sti Hatch impreza. I snapped the stock disks in a few weeks as the brakes must have tons of pressure. My Mtec disks lasted me 5 months before I warped them but that was my fault for holding the brake on when they were too toasty.

Just replaced my front discs with Mtech's, they look great and perform well but they have rusted on the bit that covers the hub. Not reallly a problem though as you just need to put a coat of hammerite and they look new again.

I have the mtec grooved and simple with textar pads on the fronts, i have had no issues with them, look great (little bit noiser upon hard braking)
