Dealer states "charge air seals" are bad???
Charge air seals? Took my car to the dealer and they are replacing the turbos due to the wastegate rattle. After looking over the car, my service advisor informed me that the "charge air seals" what he described as looking like O-rings, we're leaking and causing a boost leak and needed to be replaced. He stated the seals weren't that expensive but that labor was a 1.6 hour job. My question is, what are the charge air seals? Is this something where I can buy the parts and do it myself or should I just let them handle it for a little over $200?

He might be talking about the o-rings on the metal hot side pipes from the turbo to the FMIC. You could ask him to send you a picture. And if they're replacing the turbos, there shouldn't be any additional labor charge for that.
