e92 Adaptive/Cornering Lights - optional extra?
Quick question -
I bought my E92 with the right side angel eye out, a message pops up on the iDrive every time I start the car to tell me. Found online that I need a H8 bulb but on the same thread it said you can also replace the H3 bulb, I thought I may as well do that too whilst I am at it. Now when I replaced the H8 bulb, it still did not work, upon further homework I have read that the FRM (foot rest module) will eventually disable the light after starting the car x amount of times with the bulb out, and would need resetting even with a new bulb. (Anyone done this before?) But where the H3 bulb should be, there is nothing there, on either side, is this normal, should it be empty? |

Thank you Joey. If I ever attend a meet I will bring the new bulbs with me and someone can have them for free as spare.
As for the FRM reset, I have been told that I will need to replace the module and recode. :-( |
